City of London Branding

_________________________________________________________________________________

The proposed logo design for the City of London corporate identity project
is constructed based on the five major elements below:
1) the uppercase letter "L" = London,
2) square shape = "Square Mile" (nickname for City of London)
3) arrow = direction and expand
4) viewfinder = perspective
5) title

these five core elements are then combined into one logo design with a simple message,
"a square mile in a new direction".
The logo comes with a slogan: "see the city differently".

Logo design:
The name card is designed with a die-cut in the middle to allow people to see through the viewfinder, which literally hint the concept behind the logo.

Corporate collateral set:

The poster designs apply the famous landmark in City of London, the "Gherkin" as the main element,
and substitute one of them into either a rocket or a propeller plane,
which urge readers to see the city differently,
and that it represents the future of the City of London, launching high up into the sky.

T-Shirt design:

The T-Shirt design has a viewfinder in the centre,
which allow people to write anything they want on the shirt within the border with a felt marker,
to suggest that The City listens and cares about its people.
